Community Submission Terms
Plain-language summary: You keep ownership of your photos. You give Outlet Plug permission to use an approved submission. Nothing publishes automatically, no contributor reward is promised, and joining the newsletter is optional.
What you may submit
Submit only photos and information you created or have permission to share. Do not submit private payment details, home addresses, loyalty IDs, private order barcodes, or identifiable people without permission.
License to Outlet Plug
By submitting, you grant Outlet Plug a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, review, reproduce, edit, crop, format, adapt, publish, distribute, display, and promote the submitted photos, story, and deal information on Outlet Plug websites, newsletters, social accounts, videos, and related promotional materials. You retain ownership and may ask Outlet Plug to stop future use; removal from already-produced or archived material may not always be possible.
Accuracy and moderation
You confirm the submission is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Outlet Plug may verify, edit, reject, merge, or decline to publish any submission. A submission never publishes automatically and does not enter statistical reporting until approved.
Credit and future contributor profiles
Credit is optional. The credit preference selected on the form controls whether an approved submission may be credited anonymously, by display name, by Instagram handle, or by both name and Instagram. When you provide a stable email or Instagram handle, Outlet Plug may privately associate approved submissions with an internal contributor record. Outlet Plug has not established a points formula, rewards, or cash value. It may later introduce contributor profiles, points, badges, leaderboards, or beta access under rules announced at that time.
Submission-related messages may be sent when you provide an email. Submitting a find does not enroll you in marketing. Deal alerts, beta newsletters, and other marketing require a separate optional signup and include an unsubscribe method.
Age and changes
You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian approve the submission. The consent version and timestamp are stored with each submission. Material changes apply to future submissions and require acceptance of the newer version.
